new team and looks to build on the progress made over the past couple of years.
“We continue to receive excellent feedback from customers and partners who attend the race
weekends and that is mainly due to Árón and his passion for our company and values. He continues
to be an outstanding ambassador for Briggs, and we are looking forward to another successful
season in partnership.
“There is a captive, global audience for the BTCC and our sponsorship of Árón has undoubtedly
helped us increase the awareness of our brand. This year there will be even more opportunities for
behind the scenes access, providing an unrivalled insight into how an elite motorsport team
prepares for race day.
“We are all eagerly counting down the days until the first race weekend at Donington and everyone
at Briggs wishes Árón the very best for the upcoming season!”
Árón Taylor-Smith, commented: “The 2023 season is shaping up to be a memorable one and I am
over the moon to get the opportunity to continue representing Briggs Equipment. It's a partnership
that I am enormously proud of as we were able to achieve great things together both on and off the
track over the past two years, and we have even more planned in 2023.
“I absolutely love representing Briggs Equipment as their business ethos is perfectly aligned with my
own values. It was brilliant to welcome both staff and customers alike throughout last season as they
were all equally as passionate as I am about the BTCC. This season I will be competing for Power
Maxed Racing in a completely new car, which presents an excellent opportunity to add to my 5
outright career race wins and podium finishes.
“I want to take this opportunity to thank each and every person from Briggs Equipment for their
continued support as without their backing I simply wouldn't be able to go racing.”
