CLM Building Control Consultancy Ltd, established in 2020 by Colin Millward, is proud to announce the continuation of its partnership with the 2024 BTCC Independent Champion, Árón Taylor-Smith, for the 2026 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship season.

CLM Consultancy first joined Taylor-Smith’s BTCC programme in 2024 – coinciding with his dominant Independent Championship campaign – and has remained a key supporter throughout his continued rise as one of the Championship’s standout competitors. Following another season of strong performances in 2025, CLM Consultancy and Taylor-Smith have agreed an exciting renewal that will see the strengthening of the partnership advance into 2026 with an expanded focus on brand exposure.
Taylor-Smith said:“CLM Consultancy has been instrumental in my progress over the past two seasons, and I’m genuinely thrilled to continue our partnership into 2026. Colin and his team bring an incredible energy to the paddock, and I’ve loved every opportunity to welcome them trackside. Their commitment fuels our
performance, and I’m determined to repay that support with an even stronger campaign this year.”
Taylor-Smith continued to impress throughout 2025, adding further stand out performances, consistent points finishes, and another strong ending to the season. Building on a foundation of speed, and meticulous preparation, the Irishman now has his eyes firmly set on challenging for outright honours in 2026. With the continued backing of CLM Consultancy – a fully focused practice in the highly Regulated Building Control sector of the construction industry – the team enters the new season with confidence and ambition.
CLM Consultancy Director, Colin Millward, commented:“Supporting Árón over the past two seasons has been an absolute pleasure, and I am delighted to extend my Consultancy’s relationship into 2026. Watching Árón compete with such determination, while carrying the CLM Consultancy branding, is something of which I am immensely proud. We have further evolved our partnership for this season, and I believe 2026 will deliver even greater value and enjoyment for everyone involved. 2025 was a challenging season for Árón but his tenacity always focused on taking the positive out of any adversity. Árón’s approach resulted in an ever improving performance over the second half of the season. I am excited to see Aron flourish with front running Laser Tools Racing with MB Motorsport.”

As preparations intensify ahead of the 2026 BTCC season, Taylor-Smith’s focus remains on maximising every detail – both on and off the track. From rigorous off-season training to ongoing car development, the groundwork is already well underway as he targets one of his most competitive campaigns yet.
The 2026 BTCC season will get underway this spring, with fans encouraged to follow Árón Taylor-Smith and CLM Consultancy across digital channels for updates, behind-the-scenes content, and exclusive insights as the countdown to Round One continues.
