DDF Fire, a leading UK-based fire protection company, is thrilled to announce its partnership with the 2024 BTCC Independent Champion Árón Taylor-Smith for the 2026 British Touring Car Championship. This exciting partnership marks a new chapter for both the fans favourite and DDF Fire, who have long been fans of the BTCC.

Following a remarkable 2024 season that saw Taylor-Smith claim the coveted Independent Drivers’ Championship, the Irish driver has cemented his reputation as one of the most determined and popular figures in British motorsport. His consistency, pace, and passion for racing have made him a fan favourite, and the addition of DDF Fire to his team is set to build on that momentum heading into 2026.

Árón Taylor‑Smith’s 2025 British Touring Car Championship campaign with Toyota Gazoo Racing UK underwent a pivotal shift when he switched from the NBE engine to a M‑Sport power unit for the final three race weekends.  That engine change coincided with a marked uptick in his performance as the Corolla chassis has always been considered as one of the strongest on the grid, earmarking them for success in the 2026 season.

“Motorsport has always been about precision, safety, and passion—all qualities that resonate with our business,” said Adam Evans, Commercial Director of DDF Fire. “Árón embodies the spirit of hard work and determination that drives us every day. Partnering with him for the 2026 BTCC season, especially with Thruxton being our home track, is something we’re incredibly proud of. It’s a partnership that feels right both professionally and personally.”

Taylor-Smith, who enters his 11th full BTCC season in 2026, echoed that enthusiasm, highlighting how much the partnership means both on and off the track.

“I’m absolutely delighted to welcome DDF Fire to our BTCC journey,” said Árón Taylor-Smith. “Winning the Independent title in 2024 was a huge milestone for me and my team and I feel as though we are only getting started. Having DDF Fire onboard gives us an extra boost of motivation. They’re a fantastic company with real passion and I look forward to showing them what the BTCC is all about. I can’t wait to see what we can achieve together in 2026.”

The collaboration will see DDF Fire’s distinctive branding featured prominently on Taylor-Smith’s helmet for the 2026 season.

As one of the most competitive and closely followed racing series in the UK, the British Touring Car Championship provides the perfect stage for DDF Fire to showcase its brand alongside a proven champion. Be sure to keep an eye on the DDF social channels as well as Taylor-Smith’s to stay up to date with developments ahead of the start of the 2026 season.
