Composite Pattern & Mould specialist Freeform Technology is delighted to confirm the renewal of its sponsorship with British Touring Car Championship star Árón Taylor-Smith, marking a second consecutive season of partnership as he continues his BTCC campaign with Laser Tools Racing.

Freeform Technology specialises in the design and manufacture of best-in-class tooling solutions for the composite industry, working across demanding sectors where innovation, consistency and reliability are essential. Those values have translated seamlessly into motorsport, where marginal gains, preparation and performance under pressure define success at the highest level.
The renewed agreement follows a strong debut season together in 2025, where guests of Freeform Technology got behind the scenes access to the pinnacle of British motorsport. Building on that momentum, both parties now look ahead with confidence to the upcoming season and the opportunity to further strengthen their collaboration on and off the circuit.
Árón Taylor-Smith, the 2024 BTCC Independent Champion and one of the championship’s most experienced competitors, enters his 11th season on the grid with Freefrom Technology continuing to support his ambitions at the front of the field.
Árón Taylor-Smith commented:“I’m really proud to be continuing with Freeform Technology for a second season. Last year was a fantastic starting point for the partnership, and maximising their home race at Silverstone in 2025 showed just how well we work together. Their support makes an enormous difference and I’m excited to take this next step together with Laser Tools Racing.”
Árón Taylor-Smith joins Laser Tools Racing for the 2026 season, a proven championship-winning outfit with a strong track record of success in the British Touring Car Championship. The move brings together one of the grid’s most experienced and consistent drivers with a team renowned for its professionalism, technical strength and race-winning pedigree, creating a partnership focused firmly on competing at the front of the field.
Simon Burchett of Freeform Technology added:“We’re delighted to continue our partnership with Árón for a second season. The results and exposure achieved last year, particularly at Silverstone, demonstrated the strength of the relationship and the professionalism Árón brings as an ambassador for our company. We’re excited to build on that foundation and see what the upcoming season delivers.”
With preparations well underway and anticipation building for the opening rounds of the new BTCC campaign, be sure to follow the latest updates from Freeform Technology and Árón Taylor-Smith across their social media channels as the season draws closer.
