MRG Systems Powers Up Partnership with Árón Taylor-Smith for 2026 BTCC Season

MRG Systems, a leading UK-based digital signage and visual communications company, is excited to announce its partnership with the 2024 BTCC Independent Drivers’ Champion Árón Taylor‑Smith for the 2026 British Touring Car Championship. This collaboration brings together a fan favourite in the BTCC and a technology company renowned for innovation.

Following a record-breaking 2024 season in which he claimed the Independent Drivers’ Championship, Árón Taylor‑Smith has firmly established himself as one of the most consistent and competitive drivers in the BTCC. With multiple race wins and podium finishes across his career, Árón heads into the 2026 season joining Laser Tools Racing with MB Motorsport, ready to build on his proven track record. The addition of MRG Systems to his team brings a new layer of professional support as he aims to push for further success on the grid.

“Árón truly understands what it takes to make a partnership successful,” said Damien Kay, Managing Director of MRG Systems. “Working with him gives us an incredible opportunity not only to showcase our technology at the highest level but also to host our guests at VIP race experiences throughout the season. We’re excited to be part of his 2026 campaign and to see what we can achieve together both on and off the track.”

For Taylor‑Smith, the partnership is equally exciting. “I am over the moon to get the opportunity to represent MRG Systems,” he said. “They’re a company that shares the same focus on performance and getting things right, which aligns perfectly with my BTCC program. I’m really looking forward to showing them what the BTCC is all about and having them be a key part of my BTCC partner network.”

With preseason testing just around the corner, Árón Taylor‑Smith is gearing up for another competitive season with Laser Tools Racing. A multiple race-winner and podium finisher, he’s once again one to watch as the 2026 BTCC season gets underway. Keep an eye on both Árón’s and MRG Systems’ social channels for all the latest updates ahead of the first race weekend at Donington on April 18th & 19th.
