New Partnership, New Chapter: Taylor-Smith and Host Media Step into the BTCC

As the next chapter of his BTCC career begins with Laser Tools Racing, Árón Taylor-Smith announces a new partnership with Host Media, a UK based company specialising in web hosting platforms with a long history of supporting amazing talent

in motorsport.

With over a decade competing at the sharp end of touring car racing, Árón Taylor-Smith has become a defining figure on the BTCC grid. Multiple race wins, an

Independent Drivers’ Championship title, and a reputation for relentless race craft have cemented his status as one of the championship’s most widely followed drivers on the grid. The move to Laser Tools Racing represents a significant milestone,

aligning him with one of the BTCC’s most successful modern teams as he continues to pursue results at the very highest level of British motorsport.

Motorsport has always been more than an industry that Host Media works with, it’s something they truly love. Woven into the fabric of the company from the very beginning, Host Media has always followed the BTCC but for the first time in 2026 they will have a driver on the grid.

Árón Taylor-Smith commented: “Host Media’s passion for motorsport is real and that’s what makes this partnership

special. They’ve supported drivers for years, and now, as I take on a new challenge with Laser Tools Racing, it feels like the perfect time to bring them into the BTCC with me. I am beyond excited to show them what the BTCC is all about.”

Laser Tools Racing’s proven pedigree within the British Touring Car Championship adds real significance to the timing of this partnership. As one of the most consistently competitive and professionally run teams on the BTCC grid, the move

represents a huge opportunity. As Árón Taylor-Smith joins the squad, expectations are understandably high. The 2024 BTCC Independent Champion lines up for what will be his eleventh season in the championship, bringing with him a wealth of

experience and race-winning pedigree.

Jonathon Lucas of Host Media said: “Árón’s BTCC career speaks for itself. His journey, his professionalism and his move to

Laser Tools Racing represent everything we admire in the sport. Stepping into the BTCC with him is a proud moment for Host Media and a natural evolution of our long-standing connection to racing.” As the focus turns firmly to the opening round of the season, attention now builds towards the first race weekend at Donington Park on April 18th and 19th. Be sure to

follow both the Host Media and Árón Taylor-Smith across social channels for regular updates, behind-the-scenes insight and exclusive content as preparations intensify.
